Abstract EN

This research aims at identifying the Motivation for Mastery and its relationship to Learning Style, among The Students of the department of Psychology at the college of Education in Sudan University of Science&Technology.

the researcher used the correlation method .

The research samplewas composed of (50) Students both males and females in second,third,and fourth grades of the department of Psychology,the measures of mastery of Motivation and Learning Style were applied, prepared by the researcher.

The data was processed by the (SPSS) program, using Friedman test, and (t) test for two independent means, Alfa Coronbach, Spearman Brown correlation, and Two Way Anova .Important results were : Mastery Motivation was highly revealed among the Students of the department of Psychology .

There was no statistically significant interaction between Mastery Motivation and Learning Styles among The Students of the department of Psychology.

There was no statistically significant differences between Mastery Motivation and Learning Styles among The Students of the department of Psychology according to economic status variable (low, medium, high).

There was no statistically significant differences in the Learning Styles of The Students of the department of Psychology according to year (second, third, and fourth).

.On the basis of these results the researcher reached recommendations important of the Motivation for Mastery to adopt modern methods of Learning.
