Abstract EN

There are many approaches to considering literary meaning, from contextual approaches looking into history, sociology, and Psychology, to textual approaches looking at the abstract context, to linguistic approaches that push themselves to the limit to impose the authority of linguistic theory (linguistics) on literary texts, and the latter has achieved its goals in this regard; its theoretical and applied propositions have gained popularity in (academic) research, which preferred automatic readings over analytical taste-based readings, which has made literary criticism closer to mathematical topics than to taste and analysis.

This research seeks to approach the methodological relationship between modern linguistics - in its analytical propositions- and literary meaning, and to show the real feasibility of this mixture between method and meaning.

In summary, the present research stems from a hypothesis that: linguistic research- despite its wide applications- does not offer the most optimal way to approach literary meanings.
