Abstract EN
The research was conducted in the period from (2017- 2018), The research aimed at exploring developmental learning disabilities among n the third ring students (seventh and eighth grade) in the basic stage in Omdurman Locality, Sudan.
To verify the objective, the researchers used the descriptive method.
The community of research consisted of (386) males and females' students.
The sample size of the research was (114) cases of learning disabilities, which were chosen by the intentional way.
This included (48) students and (66), students.
for collecting data, the researchers used primary data form, normal exam as tools to measure the scholastic procuring, battery of diagnostics assessment (Elzayat, 1998), normal sequential matrices (John Raven, 1938), Has been codified on the Sudanese environment by (Elkhateeb and Elmutwakil, 2001).
The data processing by statistical package for social science (SPSS).
The research as follow: the prevalence rate of developmental learning difficulties among the third ring students in Omdurman locality is (5% ), attention difficulties, dimension of perception and memory with second-rate among students, there are no relationship between developmental learning disabilities and age, while there are no differences between male and female in attention difficulties.
Also, there are no statistically significant differences developmental disabilities among students, attributing to class.
And there is no relationship between developmental and Academic learning difficulties among students according to the birth order.
The researcher puts some recommendations and suggestions for future research
