In this research, we dealt with the epistemological framework of the competencies approach in order to know the appropriateness of the socio-interactive model of sufficiency.

we have touched on the issue of pluralism of epistemological models, and how the choice is from the principles of science or approaches, and we ended in detail in the characteristics of the unreasonable model of competencies.

and we concluded that the change in the epistemological models is for reformist reasons in the educational field, so the school must define its epistemological choices in order to ensure harmony in its daily practice.

and since the approach to the competencies focuses on the learner in the process of learning, it fell under the constructive hypothesis, and it was framing under a model in which the constructive dimension is supportive with the social and interactive dimensions, which is the most appropriate model for the sufficiency that can only be speaking within a situation.
