The aim of this article is to highlight the fundamental Muslim scholars' interest in studying pragmatics through an analytical reading of semantic implication by using one of the concepts of pragmatics the "presupposition".

this concept appears highly in semantic implication among Muslim fundamentalists.

when the speaker uses ellipsis and suppression, the addressee is supposed to know what is deleted and what is required in his speech later.

both the semantic implication and the presupposition constitute the necessary background knowledge to reach communication
