Abstract EN

This study aimed to determine the participation of directors board contribution to activate corporate governance at the level of the Skikda port corporation, by analyzing the characteristics of directors board of the institution under study during the period (2017-2019), by relying on a directed questionnaire to a sample of 24 employees.

The study found that the board of directors contributes greatly to activate corporate governance at the level of the Skikda port corporation, and the ence of a separation between the positions of the general director and the president the board of directors may lead to the loss of the board's independence, except in the event that the president general director enjoying integrity.
