The research aims to highlight the obstacles that prevent the achievement of security and peace in the Mediterranean, especially after the recent events in which it became known, due to the spread of the arms race and the desire to bring down regimes, international and non-international wars and conflicts, and illegal immigration to European countries.

and we concluded that security in the Mediterranean needs rationality in its management and not to excessive solving internal or international problems by using arms and force, because violence only generates violence, which makes international peace and security in the region null, thus affecting human rights.
