This study aims to shed light on the most important indicators of parents' cognitive representations of school children that can be measured.

in order to answer this question, we relied on the theory of cultural capital by Pierre Bourdieu, and previous studies, using the qualitative approach and as tools for research observation by participation and interview with parents of 14 schoolchildren in the first year of secondary school, and the study concluded indicators for each of the cultural dimension, the economic dimension and the system dimension.
