The twenty-first century marks the beginning of an unprecedented and fast-paced technological revolution in digital transformation, with the emergence of new opportunities to share knowledge, information, and work responsibilities.

The need arose for new models of leadership and follow-up in the virtual space.

Hence, this study came to highlight the importance of digital leadership for the digital transformation of the public service in Algeria.

And this is through a descriptive and analytical approach in several axes, which concluded results that can be adopted, which is the importance that digital leadership plays in the success of digital transformation in the absence of this concept in the corridors of the Algerian administration.

With the possibility of adopting pioneering models in the field of creating digital leaders that raise the challenge of achieving e-government.

Focusing on training and coaching for the public sector’s human resources remains one of the basic requirements in any future strategy that seeks quality digital services, with the need to transform public sector managers into digital leaders entrusted with the task of making the effort to transform into e-government succeed.
