The study aims to explain the long-term relationship between the tourism sector and economic development, working on building a multi-variable standard model that shows the existence of a relationship in the long and short term includes the gross domestic product and two variables that express the tourism economy, such as the number of arrivals and the income generated by their spending.

the study concluded that there is a causal relationship going in one direction from the number of tourists from abroad to the gross domestic product, and the results of estimating the error correction model restricted to the existence of the error correction mechanism reached 91% that speed at which adjust the balance.
