Abstract EN

This research paper aims to shed light on the status of Waqf Sukuk and their role in supporting and promoting the economic and social dimensions of sustainable development, in light of the pioneering experiences of some countries, in which Waqf Sukuk had a prominent and clear contribution to supporting the comprehensive development process.

However, in order to achieve the research objective we relied on the descriptive and analytical approach.

The research concluded that the Waqf Sukuk contribute significantly to the promotion of sustainable development by providing the necessary financial resources to support economic activity and achieve social welfare.

Furthermore, the paper suggested a set of important recommendations that would activate the role of Waqf Sukuk in Algeria in order to achieve its development goals.
