this is in order to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past and the will to liberate history from the official view.

and perhaps the Algerian texts (Mottoun in Arabic) have also woven this spirit by rewriting its history and restoring its spirit and national memory with its events and heroes.

from here, we chose to take a sample from it, represented in the writings of the novelist Ammara Lakhous, specifically his work marked "Tayr al-Layl" (bird of the night), as this work is rich in memory and history questioning, it reads history in a skeptical manner that calls for the marginalized, forgotten and the abandoned one.
