هذه الدراسة محاولة لفهم حقائق تاريخية تناولت الإبادة التي تعرض لها اليهود عبر التاريخ اثداء من العصور القديمى الى العصور الوسطى و من ثم العصور الحديثة، وففا لمهج علم اللغة التارض من خلال عرض نماذج من النصوص المكتوية باللغات الامية و التعليق عليها؛ لبيان فهم حقيقة هولوكوست اليهود عه التاريخ، بالإضافة الى توضيح ممن كلمة معاداة السامية (ANTI-SEMITISM)، للإجابة عن الاستفهامات التالية؛ هل أن مصطلح هلوكوست تم استخدامه في اثناء وصف حكومة ألمانيا النازية وحلفائها لإبادة اليهود، أم أنه ذك قل الحرب العالمية الثانية ؟ ما الغرض الدلالي لمصطلح الهواو كوت، هل هو الاضطهاد والتصفية المقية لليهود فقط تطبيقا لمعاداة الامية أم انه يشمل كل غريب في أوروبا؟

English Abstract

This study is an attempt to understand the historical facts about the extermination to which the Jews were subjected throughout history, starting from ancient times to the Middle Ages and then modern times, according to the methodology of historical linguistics by presenting samples of texts written in Semitic languages and commenting on them to demonstrate the understanding of the reality of the Holocaust of the Jews throughout history.

Also, it clarifies the meaning of ‘Anti-Semitism’ to answer the following questions: Was the term ‘Holocaust’ used when the government of Nazi Germany and its allies described the extermination of the Jews, or was it mentioned before the Second World War? What is the semantic purpose of the term Holocaust, the persecution and ethnic cleansing of the Jews, as the application of anti-Semitism to the Jews, or does it include every stranger in Europe?
