This research paper aims to shed light on the modern Arabic lexicon ; where we first dealt with the definition of the lexicon linguistically and idiomatically, then we moved on to talk about the types of dictionaries, then we mentioned the most important objectives of the lexicon entrusted to it.

then we devoted an important space in this research to talk about the modern Arabic lexicon and the challenges of the information age, as we mentioned some specifications of the digital Arabic lexicon.
