تقييم واقع الاستثمار السياحي في الجزائر خلال الفترة (2002-2020)‎ في ظل المخطط التوجيهي للتهيئة السياحية (SDAT 2030)‎

Abstract EN

This study aimed to assess the reality of tourism investment in Algeria during the period (2002-2020) under the tourism development directive plan «SDAT 2030», and this is by examining and analyzing the development of requests for tourism projects as well as stalled, completed and under completion tourism projects before and after the issuance of the tourism development master plan (SDAT 2030), based on data and statistics provided by the Algerian Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts.

The study reached a set of results, the most important of which is that despite Algeria's possession of a comprehensive tourism policy to develop the tourism sector, the tourism sector in general recorded a stagnation in tourism investment, through the slow pace of completion of tourism projects during the study period, and this is due to several reasons, mainly financial and administrative obstacles as well as the deterioration of the investment climate in Algeria.
