This research aims to highlight the role of financial technology as a modern entry point for the development of the takaful insurance industry while presenting Bahrain's experience as a pioneering Arab model in the application of financial technology, by addressing the various mechanisms and tools of financial technology in takaful insurance companies and the need to use both mobile technology and its applications, intelligence artificial, smart contracts, ledger technology, which is a strategic and inevitable requirement dictated by the competitive environment of the takaful insurance industry in front of its traditional counterpart, especially with the economic and financial repercussions imposed by the COVID 19 pandemic.
