Abstract EN

The agricultural sector is primarily responsible for providing food.

therefore, more attention should be paid to this sector, and work to solve problems, in particular, to provide the necessary investments for its development.

this is done by implementing appropriate policies.

the problem was the decline in the role of the agricultural sector.

also, the agricultural policies did not support the farms.

this led to the existence of many problems, which led to his inability to solve these problems.

despite the large areas of new lands.

therefore, the research aimed to evaluate the implemented agricultural policies during the recent years, and suggesting policies that will advance the sector and enable it to grow, focusing on new land policies to increase their effectiveness.

one of the most important results of the research from the application of the simultaneous model is that the value of agricultural investments, medium-term loans for Egyptian plant production, subsidies, and gross domestic product are among the most important determinants of the agricultural sector role.

the most important recommendations can be summarized in the need to direct agricultural investments to reclaim lands, and to expand the cultivation of strategic crops there to bridge the food gap in Egypt.

with the provision of an appropriate amount of medium-term loans to farmers to facilitate the progress of the production process.
