Abstract EN

The study aimed to shed light to the impact of cultural legacies represented by customs, traditions and ideas, which are responsible for causing discrimination, marginalization and gender differences, which in turn affect women's affiliation with feminist movements, in addition to clarifying how these legacies affect women's development for the entities they represent and thus conflicts occur.

the culture within society, which is based on discrimination between the sexes and restricting the behavior and orientations of one of them without the other.

the results of the study concluded that culture is in the aspects of human life that a person acquires through learning and not through heredity, and the values lead to group members acquiring the collective conscience that stems from consensus.

it leads to its mixing in the personality of its members, and also the cultural heritage or popular culture is a historical phenomenon that arose from the interaction of the elements of society during multiple historical periods, and when looking at the division of roles between men and women, we find it returns to the perceptions it produces society influenced by its traditions, culture and customs.

the study recommended working to establish a positive culture in human beings through learning and leaving the cultural legacies transmitted through heredity that do not represent the individual himself, and work must be influenced by the values that do not establish the concept of gender discrimination, but rather work to spread equality and teamwork between the sexes, and also work on dividing roles equally between women and men, which in turn works to spread the work collective and gender equality.
