Abstract EN

This paper deals with the study of the legal function of the "Bank" credit card system and likewise in addition to defining this relatively new system, as being a means to meet certain financial and commercial transactions and commitments between traders and card holders, to replace cash payments.

This system had been invented by commercial world and taken by banks to become as banking operation added-up to their total operations.

Thus, the importance of this subject has risen from both legal and practical perspectives, for the relations which the bank, the tie up customer and the trader which makes it difficult to be given one legal definition.

Further more there is widespread use of this system, and its advantages which are, smoothness, rapidness, speed and safety.

Our aim is this study in to present this system through dividing the subject into : -Introductory chapter.
