Abstract EN

This study aimed at recognizing the nature of the relationship between the extent to which the Yemeni civil governmental units abide by the principles of transparency and the shape of the managerial corruption in it.

In addition, this study aimed at finding out the possible deviations with statistical significance into the employees responses on the image of the commitment the Yemeni civil governmental units hold towards the principles of transparency.

These responses came up with different reasons for this corruption based on personal and employment variables.

The population of the study covers all the Yemeni civil government units.

The sample of the study consists of (5) central units in the Capital Sana'a.

this sample was chosen randomly.

Another categorized sample was also chosen randomly from employees of these units.

This sample consists of 272 individuals.

The study used the method of questionnaire to collect data.

This questionnaire consists of three parts.

The first part includes personal and employment data.

The second part includes data related to the principles of transparency.

However, the third part includes data related to the different forms of corruption.

The analysis of the data is done with the use of the SPSS.

The descriptive statistical method and the significance statistical method are also used in the study.

The study came up with a group of findings: 1.

There is a reverse relationships between the extent to which the Yemeni civil government units abide by the principles of transparency and the shape of the managerial corruption.

The study sample responses include no differences with statistical significance related to the commitment of the Yemeni civil governmental units and the level of managerial corruption in it on the basis of personal and employment variables.

In the light of these findings, the study concluded with a set of recommendations.
