Abstract EN

This study aimed at exploring the effect of applying blended learning strategy on developing the student’s communicative skills in Al-Isra private university.

There fore the researcher designed an educational programme based on the foundations of the blended learning.

Two instruments were used to collect the data of the study.

One of them was instructional software while the other was an achievement test.

The Validity and reliability were measured for both.

In order to examine the effect of the blending learning strategy on developing the students’ communicative skills.

Two sections were randomly chosen from the students, why were enrolled in the linguistic communication course in Al-Isra private university.

The sample consisted of 75 male and female.

The control group was taught via regular method and the experimental group was taught via the blending learning method.

The two groups were equivalent.

Means and standard deviation were calculated and the t-test was applied on the independent sample.

The study revealed the following: • There are statistically significant differences at = 0.05 between the mean scores of the control and experimental groups due to the application of the blending learning strategy.

• There are no statistically significant differences at = 0.05 between the mean scores of the control and experimental groups in developing the communication skills due to specialty.

T • There are no statistically significant differences at = 0.05 between the mean scores of the control and experimental groups in developing the communication skills due to gender.

The study revealed a number of recommendations and suggestions, such as the necessity of utilizing the blending learning strategy in teaching most of the courses, as this strategy showed an obvious significances in the student's achievement
