Abstract EN

Aloul is situation involving rivalry over religious duties, which sometimes occurs when dealing with inheritance issues.

This research addresses aloul in terms of establishing its presence and a scholarly stance on the issue as reached through consensus, the stand of the fuqaha (Islamic legal scholars), and as apparent in the Koran and Sunna.

The research proceeds to discuss the views of those who reject this position and then discusses in detail of the viewpoint of Ibn Hazm, the famous contender of this position.

The research further confronts some fundamental problems in Aoul and provides examples.

The research concludes by mentioning some proper solutions for problems having to do with inheritance.
