Abstract EN

This research is primarily intended to examine the feasibility of applying Arab economic integration, firstly by applying the classic Theory of Customs Union (static effects) as presented by Viner, and secondly by applying the modern Theory of Economic Integration (dynamic effects).

In applying the first theory, the positive effects from trade union are weighed against the negative effects of trade diversion in order to ascertain the impact of this economic approach on Arab countries.

In applying the modern Theory of Economic Integration (dynamic effects) in Arab economic integration, the effects of such factors as scale economies, economic competition, market expansion, and increased investment are weighed in terms of their impact on economic growth in Arab countries.
