Abstract EN

The constitutional interpretation considered one of the fundamental subjects, which occupied by the constitutional legislator in Jordanian Constitution.

The competence of the interpretation was authorized to a mix institution; The Private Department in the constitution of 1928 and 1947, and to The Higher Council in 1952.

This paper aimed to explain the important development of constitutional interpretation in the Jordanian constitutional regime since 1928 to 2003.

In addition, the suitable plan in my opinion is divide the study in two parts: The first to explain the legal system of constitutional interpretation, and the other one for practical study of the interpretation decisions.
