Abstract EN

This study is a critical study of Dr.

Ahmad Makki Al- Ansari’s book “The Quranic Syntactic Theory”.

The study concludes that there is a theory for Arabic syntax that depends on its grammar on the Holy Quran first, Hadith and the language of Arabs (poetry and prose).

It is not easy, as the author says, to rely on the Holy Ouran only in building Arabic syntax.

The research discusses in detail what the author aims and it reveals zeal and rashness in the author’s study.

On the contrary, any study must be built on moderation, care fullness and voidness of emotions as long as possible to have an objective study.

It is also clear that the researcher has given some attempts in studying the Quranic syntax that preceded this author’s study which shows that the author’s study is not the first attempt in this domain.

In addition to this, the research criticizes the author’s attack on grammarians and it explains the relation between grammarians and the readers of Quran in its right frame work.
