Abstract EN

the present research aims at knowing 1- the social intelligence of univercity students .

2- finding the differnces of social intellgence among university students according to gender and specialization variables 3- measuring the quality of decision making of university students according to gender and specialization variables 4- the relation between social intelligence and the quilty of decision making the two scales of ( social intelligence and the goodness of decision making ) have been built .

the study is applied on asample consists of ( 200 ) students ( male / female ) in college of education / morning studies .

the researcher has arrived at anumber of results such as :- 1-university students ( humanity / scientific studies ) have high cosial intelligence .

2-there are statistically significant differnces in the social intelligence according to gender to the benefit of males .

3-university students ( humanity / scientific ) have a high ability in decision making the researcher has reached to anumber of recommendations and suggestion .
