This study discusses the impact of time in the option of term.

In the empirical part I pointed out in the definition of time in the option of term and the proofs on the validity of the option of term.

In the practical part I pointed out the impact of time in the period of the option of term and the terms of validity of the option of term, then the impact of time in the contemporary practical applications for the option of term. The study concluded to an impact of time in the contemporary practical applications for the option of term through making use of the legal period of the option to finance commercial contracts in the Islamic banks, and avoiding the losing contracts.
