Abstract EN

After looking at the tradition dealing with house construction, I found what is against construction, and what speaks in favor of inhabiting houses and buildings.

I then related such traditions with the holy Quranic verses dealing with constructions: I found that God the Almighty made "Al-bait" one of his blesses on his worshippers.

I thus began to investigate the texts of such traditions, and I found the traditions speaking against constructing houses ate weak in most cases.

What is held true among them is considered by learned as relating to superfluous, luxurious buildings, against distracts man from worshipping his God and working for the doomsday.

Our prophet, may God pray on his soul, spoke against of exaggeration in building construction God had also asked us not to behave like wrong-doers so that what befell upon them may not befall upon us.

Besides, we should care for spiritual upbringing ,not ignoring then material construction embodied in buildings, which saves man in his soul, money and honor.

This is in fact one of the aims of Islamic law, which came to protect and implement Islamic principles.

The study concluded that it is permissible to build according to the Islamic criteria illustrated within the study in so far as the general framework of building is in line with the civilian and religious aspects of our firm creed.
