Abstract EN

Environmental pollution is a crucial problem of the modern age.

Its grave dangers on human life are becoming visible.

In order to resolve this problem, some concerted endeavours are under way.

Among such endeavours is serious consideration on imposing some kind of judicial control over criminals promoting environmental pollution.

This requires, in turn, the role of some specialist personnel associated with the Department on the Protection of Environmental Affairs.

These specialists should be well-cognizant to detect environmental crimes and the eventual affirmation of such crimes through technical techniques.

At present, such specialists are extinct.

This factor constitutes an impediment on the materialization of suggestive judicial control.

Also, it provides an impetus towards the articulation of legal provisions on the Arab environmental protection.

In operational context, this task is delegated to the Department on the Protection of Environmental Affairs and other pertinent bodies.

The personnel associated with such bodies are entrusted with authority to monitor relative installations.

Also, they are given authority to ensure the protection of environmental integrity.

Any actual or potential criminal is subjected to penalty incorporated in pertinent legislations.

The summary discourse such as is preceded in the above passages is given, in detail, in the present research.

The latter, as a whole, is divided into three sections.

First section discusses the nature of administrative and judicial controls over environmental protection.

Second section expounds, at length, the tasks carried by personnel to control violations jeopardizing environmental integrity.

Third section sheds light on the problems encountered by the relative personnel ensuring environmental viability.

The present research, in its conclusive passage, incorporates salient findings and constructive recommendations.
