Abstract EN

Research aimed to: 1.Identify the level of meaning in life among the students of the University of Baghdad, on a scale of meaning in life and to identify statistically significant differences in the level of the meaning of life according to the variables of sex (males - females) and specialization (scientific-humanist). 2.Identify the level of personalitytype (A, B) on the scale arabized by the researcher and applied to students of the University of Baghdad, and to identify the differences statistically significant at the level of personalitytype (A, B) depending on the variables of sex (males-females) and specialization (scientific-humanist). 3.Identify the relationship between meaning in life and personality type (A, B). Research Tools : Researcher used measure of meaning in life ,arabizedand adapted on the Iraqi environment by Al-Araji (2007).

The researcher arabized personal type scale (A, B) and its adaptation to the environment of Iraq. The results showed: ١.Baghdad University students have a level of meaning in life and the existence of statistically significant differences in favor of males, but no significant differences on the scale of meaning in life, depending on the specialty (scientific- humanist). 2.

Tendency of students to the type (A) and no statistically significant differences due to the variables (males - females) and specialization (males - females) on the scale of personality type (A, B) in the light of the results ,the researcher reached to some of the recommendations and proposals
