الملخص الإنجليزي

This project deals with the design and implementation of electromyography pattern analysis system for robot arm.

It process the muscle activity signal KEMG) and converts it as control signal to move the robot arm.

Tec system was built based on the linear relationship between the muscle tension level and the resulting mechanical force.

A surface electrode was used to acquire the (EMG) signal from the skin.

This signal was processed by conditioning unit and conveyed to up type Z-SO.

This signal was used from to generate control signal for robot arm movement.

The robot arm us made to resemble the human arm in form, motion and number of joints.

The system was designed and implemented to consist of three basic units, the first is conditioning unit for processing EMG signal, the second is PC unit for controlling the system operation and the third is robot arm unit to control the robot arm movement.

The systems are cheap, small in size, flexible and provide ability for development.

The project results can have many important applications in various fields such as, in the medicine for prosthesis and in hazardous locations as a remote control of the robot arm.
