تعد الممرضات الحشرية (النيماتودا و الفطريات) أحد العناصر المهمة التي تستخدم في المكافحة الحيوية للحشرات، و يمكن للممرضات الحشرية أن تتواجد في معظم البيئات.
أجريت هذه الدراسة لمعرفة مدى تواجد الممرضات الحشرية الفطرية و النيماتودية في عينات التربة التي جمعت من حقول و بساتين مختلفة في منطقة جنوب سوريا ؛ حيث استخدمت يرقات عثة الشمع (Lepidoptera : Galleriidae) Galleria mellonella كمصيدة لعزل النيماتودا و الفطريات المتواجدة في التربة، فتم جمع 157 عينة تربة في عام 2008، و قد أظهرت النتائج أن عينتين تربة (بنسبة حدوث 1.27 %) احتوت على الجنس النيماتودي.
Steinernema sp الممرض للحشرات ؛ و أن 26 عينة (بنسبة 16.56 %) احتوت على فطريات ممرضة للحشرات تنتمي إلى Nomurea riley, Beauveria sp,Paecilomyces sp ,و Aspergillus sp.
Abstract EN
The occurrence of entomopathogenic fungi and nematodes was assessed in soil samples collected from different orchards and fields in southern Syria.
Nematodes and fungi were isolated from soil samples through baiting them by the larvae of wax moth, Galleria mellonella (Lepidoptera : Pyralidae).
A total of 157 soil samples were collected from different orchard habitats during 2008.
Only two samples were positive for entomopathogenic nematodes (1.27 % occurrence) that were identified as Steinernema sp.
and 26 samples were positive for entomopathogenic fungi (16.56 % occurrence) belonging to Nomurea riley, Beauveria sp., Paecilomyces sp., and Aspergillus sp.
