This study applied to all abandoned women beneficiaries of the National Aid Fund in the governorate of Jarash using the questionnaire , personal interview as tools to collect data and was applied on survey sample consisted of 40 abandoned women , One of the findings of the study that there are social problems facing women abandoned but it has no significant impact on the relations and dealings in their society to a certain extent and there are many economic problems suffered by abandoned women regarding securing the main needs for family which affects them greatly and psychological problems with greatest impact on them and on their children.

The study suggested a set of recommendations including: 1.

Educate Muslim societies in general and Jordanian society, in particular regarding the concept of abandoned women and their rights and duties of their socites towards them .
