Abstract EN

This study deals with Al_ Thahabi's book entitled State of Islam (746 A.D.), a source for the financial aspects in the Islamic Arabic State (1 _ 746 A.D.).The study includes several topics that have been stated chronologically according to their significance by Al_ Thahabi .

However ,the first topic studies the booty and its effect on the economics of the Islamic Arab State.

The second topic deals with the confiscations and their reasons and kind.

The third topic treats the estates and the annual income of the State high standing men and the differentiation between the two kinds as well as its relation with the living standard of the State.

The fourth topic tackles the charities, donations, and presents with defining each one of them separately and how and what they were to agree upon.

The fifth topic deals with the living standard which is divided into these types: the welfare, the high living standard, high prices, and low standard living .

The sixth topic studies the army according to the historical epoch.

The last topic, which is set in a separate column, deals with miscellaneous items found in different places in Al_ Thahabi's book which may have an effect, if being put in a separate topic, so as to let the reader know them well .
