Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the role of the teacher of Islamic education in spreading the values of moderation and extremism, violence and resistance, in order to achieve this , the study attempts to answer the following questions: What is the meaning of moderation in Islam? What are the causes of extremism and violence among students? and the role of the teacher of Islamic education in spreading the values of moderation and extremism and violence among students? to answer these questions the researcher defined moderation, and explained the various manifestations of Islamic education, both in belief, or look at knowledge, or in acts of worship, legislation, the concepts of extremism and violence, and the reasons that lead students to do that, whether these reasons are related to religious ignorance and lack of understanding and interpreting texts, or related to the state and political, social system, Moreover the paper reports the important role of the teacher of Islamic education in promoting the values of moderation and oppose violence and extremism, to clarify the principles of moderation, and training students to dialogue and thinking skills, and stay away from blind imitation, and understanding of texts and interpreted correctly, Finally, the paper provided some related recommendations.
