Abstract EN

The study aimed at investigating the degree of the organizational citizenship behavior and its relationship with the organizational allegiance among the employees in the Educational directorates in AL-Mafrak Governorate and the effect of the demographic variables: gender, scientific qualification, and years of experience on the level of the organizational citizenship behavior and the level of the organizational allegiance.

The sample of the study consisted of (206) employees.

The results of the study indicated that the means of the five dimensions of the organizational citizenship behavior were high, while the mean of the organizational allegiance was intermediate.

The results of the study also have demonstrated that there was a positive relationship between the degree of the organizational citizenship behavior and the degree of the organizational allegiance.

Moreover, the results of the study showed that there were statisticly significant differences in the degree of the organizational citizenship behavior and the degree of the organizational allegiance due to the gender and years of experience variables.

In addition, the results of the study have revealed that there were no statisticly significant differences in the degree of the organizational citizenship behavior due to the scientific qualification variable.

Meanwhile, the results of the study have indicated that there were statisticly significant differences in the organizational allegiance attributed to the scientific qualification variable.

In light of these results, the researchers have suggested several recommendations, the most important recommendation is reinforcing the organizational citizenship behavior in order to reflect on enhancing the level of the organizational allegiance among the employees to achieve the desired aims.
