Intertextuality is among the most prominent artistic devices utilized by poets to enrich their texts and to distance them from rhetorical oration and directness.

It widens the text's horizon and increases its estheticity.

The present study examines one of the various types of intertextuality in the poetry of Al-Telafari : the intertextual intersection between his poetry and the Quran.

In the theoretical introduction, the researcher defines the concept of intertextuality and explores its artistic significance and implications.

Then he proceeds to examine, analytically, the different forms of intertextuality in the poetry of Al-Telafari, highlighting Al-Telafari's artistic employment and idiosyncratic use of intertextuality.
