Effect of trigonella foenum-graecum extract on some histological and physiological (fertility)‎ traits in female white albino mice

The project included study the effect of Trigonella extract on female fertility by using following tests (measurement of follicular stimulating hormone FSH, luteinizing hormone LH and prolactin levels), and histology (ovaries) status was studied in normal and treated female mice with Trigonella extract.

Female mice were injected intraperitoneal (IP) with Trigonella extract daily for 5weeks at a dosage of 2 and 4 g / kg body weight for A and B groups, respectively.

The female mice exhibited enhanced significant increase in hormone levels (FSH, LH and prolactin) in serum and increased numbers and diameters of primary and secondary follicules and corpus lutetium in groups treated with Trigonella extract compared with control group.
