Abstract EN

This research consists of two sections, an introduction and a conclusion.

Section (I) discusses the ancient scholars’ views of numbers stated in the sources of exegesis and Quran sciences.

It also presents the views of contemporary scholars regarding the numerical miracles in the Quran.

The opinions of ancient scholars such as those of al-Tabari al-Raghib al-Asfahani , Ibn Katheer, Al-Suhaili, Ibn Hajar, Al-Razi and Al-Qurtubi were discussed.

Furthermore, the views of Al-Baqillani, Ibn Al-Jawzi and Al-Sakhawi regarding the disconnected letters in the Qur’an were alsonalyzed.

As for the contemporaries, the first to discuss the numerical miracles in the Qur’an were sheikh Said al-Noorsi and Abd al-RazzakNawfal.

Some of the modern publications include Mu’jizat al-Tarteeb al-Qurani by Abdullah Jalghoom and al-I’jaz fi Tarqeem al-Ayat by Abd al-Wahab Abu Safiya.

However, certain books were devoted to the mysteries of certain numbers such as the The miracle and mysteries of number 29 in the Qur’an by Umar al-Dees.

Section II examines a specialized book titled Ishraqat al-Raqam Sabaa’ fi al_Quran al-Kareem.

The contents of the book were analyzed in-depth and the pits, falls, exaggerations and inconsistencies were also investigated.

The research recommendations focus on the need to adhere to Shari’a principles and constraints, the need to avoid excessive artificiality in studying numerical miracles, and the importance of not involving the Qur’an in any unnecessary uncertainties and doubts.

The need to relate the phenomenon of numerical miracles to the meanings of the Qur’an in a manner that fulfills the purposes of the Noble Qur’an was also recommended
