يتناول هذا البحث اختلاف موقف القبائل العربية من قضية تحقيق الهمز و تخفيفه، و السبل التي اتبعوها في تحقيق الهمز أو تخفيفه، و أثر البيئة في هذا السلوك الصوتي، و استنباط ذلك من مصنفات علمائنا القدماء في معالجاتهم هاتين الظاهرتين، و مدلول الهمز و النبر عندهم، و إدراكهم مفهوم التنغيم و إن لم يسموه.
و القراءات لا تعد مقياسا دقيقا يعتد به في تمييز البيئة المحققة من البيئة غير المحققة، فكثير من القراء يختار القراءة بما ينسجم و ذوقه و ثقافته اللغوية، أو يبقى محتفظا بما طبع عليه في نشأته فيخالف البيئة الجديدة التي يستوطنها، أو لم يخالف رواية شيخه، و عرض البحث لقضايا صوتية بقدر ما ينسجم و طبيعة البحث اللهجية.
و محاولة رسم حدود دقيقة بين البيئتين المحققة والمخففة عملية تكتنفها صعوبات جمة؛ فالقبائل متداخلة، و غير مستقرة غالبا في موضع واحد، فقبيلة تهمز و فرع منها لا يهمز، و أخرى لا تهمز وبعض أبنائها يهمزون، و هناك أكثر من قبيلة تحمل اسما واحدا.
Abstract EN
This research deals with the difference between Arab tribes' stance in the issue of stressed and unstressed hamza ( schwa ), the methods they followed to decide whether it was stressed or unstressed, the influence of surroundings in this phonetic behaviour , educing that from our old scholars' books in their treatment of these two phenomena , the purport of hamza and tone ,and their apprehending the concept of toning even though they didn't hear of it .
Readings are not standard for differentiating between stressed and unstressed surroundings .
Many readers chose reading going with their taste, language education or kept on what they had learned previously or didn't disagree to what their old tutors had said .
The research is about phonetic affairs concerning the dialectal nature of the research .
An attempt to draw limits between the two stressed and unstressed surroundings is difficult .
Tribes are telescopic and not stable in one place .
Tahmaz tribe as well as one of its branches didn't use hamza whereas other tribes use it although some of their children didn't use it .
There were more than one tribe carrying the same name.
