Abstract EN

The field of Management has two key pillars; these are Quantitative and Behavioral Perspectives.

In the former, the research sets forth the following trends: the scientific management, the quantitative management trend in addition to some quantitative aspects in the modem management trends such as goal- oriented management and total quality management, and sums up with highlighting the advantages of IT in the management arena.

The researcher then delves into the behavioral perspective explaining how it is associated with psychology, sociology and anthropology.

He also mentions in that regard the following movements: Human Relations Movement, Modem Behavioral School, organizational behavior development, behavioral aspects, goals - oriented modem management movements and total quality management.

The study finally stresses the paramount importance of the integration of the quantitative and behavioral perspectives in all Arab modem police institutions since the former helps both researchers and practitioners be more accurate and scientific to achieve concrete results.

Whereas the latter helps in understanding human behavior in the organization and adds a human touch within the organization.

The integration can be obviously manifested itself in Systems Approach and Contingency Theory.
