Abstract EN

We will discuss in this paper the changes in the security strategy of the United States, after the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the system of communism, as well as after the events of September 11, and these transformations by the international system with collapse of bipolarity at the structural and moral level, made some thinkers talking about a rupture with theoretical frameworks and old concepts, and we will try to focus in the most important events in the evolution of U.S.

security strategy, which is based mainly on the achievement of the national interest in the broad sense, with some differences between the presidents and their party policy.
