Abstract EN

This study aimed to build a measurement to evaluate the effectiveness of e-learning models in light of educational theories.

This has been done through reviewing literature that is relevant to course instructional and e-learning design, and related studies.

As well as providing a brief theoretical framework of four educational approaches that are (Behavioral, cognitive, constructivist and social), and viewing the most important principles and concepts advocated by these approaches, which can be used in designing e-learning, and clarifying the contributions of each approach in designing the results of e-learning, and identifying its environments and assessments.

Through the research, the researcher was able to devise a large number of pedagogical educational standards that can be used to evaluate validity of e-learning models.

After including it in a measurement, and arbitration this measurement, to check its veracity, and stability, the researcher was able to get out an appropriate measurement to evaluate the effectiveness of e-learning models, in light of educational theories, consisting of (68) items distributed into seven domains, with significant veracity, and stability.

The study recommended a set of recommendations, including the need to take the pedagogical standards contained in the measurement in consideration, in designing or using e-learning models and in evaluating these models, the researcher also recommended further studies regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of e-learning models used in educational institutions.
