Abstract AR
وضحت الدراسة طبيعة العلاقات الاقتصادية و الاجتماعية بين مصر و الحجاز و أثر التحولات السياسية في كلا البلدين عليها، خاصة الثورة العربية التي أعلنها الشريف حسين في 10 حزيران 1916 و قيام المملكة العربية الهاشمية في الحجاز (1916-1925).
هذا إلى جانب دور بريطانيا في التأثير بمجمل العلاقات المصرية الحجازية خاصة بعد إعلان حمايتها على مصر سنة 1914.
و اعتمدت الدراسة على وثائق متنوعة غير منشورة، جاء في مقدمتها محفوظات دار الكتب و الوثائق القومية بالقاهرة، إضافة إلى عدد من الصحف العربية و الوثائق البريطانية.
Abstract EN
The study clarifies the nature of economic and social relations between Egypt and Al-Hijaz, and how they were affected by political changes in both countries, especially the Arab Revolt declared by sherif Hussien on June 10, 1916, followed by the establishment of the Arab Hashemite Kingdom in Hijaz (1916-1925).
The study also discusses the role of Great Britiain in affecting the relations between Egypt and Hijaz, especially after 1914 where Egypt became protectorate of great Britain.
The study relied on several unpublished documents, mainly the archive of “National Library and Archives of Egypt” in Cairo, besides several British documents and Arabic Newspapers.
