Abstract EN

This study aimed at measuring the effect of some managerial functions and the organization climate on time management efficiency , time waste , and job performance at the institutions of the public and private sectors.

Applying that on a sample of the middle management in both sectors, the results showed that there was a time waste in both sectors and inefficient time management in the public sector.

Significant relationships were found between the managerial functions and the organization climate and each of time management efficiency and job performance.

Concerning time waste, opposite results were found.

Based on these results, no significant differences between the two sectors were found except in the effect of the managerial functions and the organization climate on time management efficiency and job performance.
