The novel presented the issue of modernization, the cultural interaction, peace between Arabs and Jews, the question of renaissance of the Arabs, taking into consideration originality and the identity of the Nation.

The novel is an invitation for cultural interaction with other nations, and racial discrimination and the Zionist mentality.

The novel also referred to the Arab-Israeli wars.
