Abstract EN

This reserch deals with the great transformational industries in iraq in 2007 it also shows the number of its insitutions in iraq and the size of working force .

This research reveals the number ofinstitutions in the three sectors (government cooperatise private and the size of workforce at in these setors it also studies the structure and from of transformational industries accorcling to their types in the governorates together with the size of their workforce .

This research reveals that transformational industries have great role in the Iraqi economy and in providing products.

The number of the factories of great transformational industrives is (696) in which (180447 ) workers work .They all still suffering from government negledgen , lack of financial sapport and foreign –products competition , the breakdown of many factories because they we very old and exposed to damage because of the circumstances that iraq passed tlivongh so they remain with maintenance , and the lack of local or imported raw materials .

Therefor , officials and the concemed insititutions (government, industrial bank Iraqi industries union and labor societies ) must consider these industries.
