The main aim of the present study is to compare students' attitudes and dispositions towards regular exams versus writing term papers.
The study is based on a sample of 106 students (77 males and 29 females) enrolled in education diploma program at Mu'tah University at the summer semester 1994/1995.
The findings of the study indicated that students preferred term papers over regular exams, and rated the former more favorably than regular exams.
Moreover, no statistically significant effects sex, age and interaction were founded (Pc.05).
