This research paper endouvers to study and edit the biography of Al-Suyu.tx as compiled and documented by his student C Abd A1 -Wahab A]-Shacraiu (died 970 Hijri, 1562 A.

D:).

This study follows this sequence: an intorduction of AKSha rani, the analysis of the sources of the above biography, the significance of this biography in that it provides new and rich information about Al-Suyuti and his time, the image of Al-Suyu.if in the Islamic society following his death, the impact of this biography in being an incentive in writing other biographies.

The writer of this paper used two manuscripts of the above biography.

The edited text is provided with sufficient comments on certain proper names, anomalous expressions, books, educational and administrative constitutions.
