في هذا العمل، تم قياس تراكيز الرادون في عينات مختلفة من معاجين الأسنان المتوفرة في الأسواق العراقية باستخدام كواشف تتبع الأثر CR-39، كذلك تم تحديد تراكيز الراديوم و اليورانيوم من خلال إحصاء عدد أثار غاز الرادون.
و قد وجد أن مدى تراكيز الرادون و الراديوم و اليورانيوم لعشرة عينات من معجون الأسنان تراوحت بين Bq.m3 (1.416±0.104-0.084±0.009), Bq.m3 (101.08±7.44-6.03±0.70).
و (49.62±3.65-2.996±0.34) ppb جزء في البليون على التوالي.
حيث كان الهدف من البحث هو معرفة نسبة تراكيز المواد المشعة الموجودة في المعاجين هل تتجاوز الحدود المسموح بها عالميا لتلافي استيراده.
أظهرت هذه الدراسة أن جميع نتائج تراكيز غاز الرادون في العينات مختارة كانت اقل من حدود المسموحة للدراسات السابقة.
Abstract EN
In this work, Radon concentrations in different samples of toothpastes which are available in Iraqi markets were measured using CR-39 plastic nuclear track detector, it was also determine the concentrations of Radium and Uranium through counted the number of Radon tracks.
It was found that the range of Radon, Radium and Uranium concentrations for ten samples of toothpaste between (6.03 ± 0.70-101.08 ± 7.44) Bq.m-3, (0.08 ± 0.009-1.416 ± 0.104) Bq.Kgm-1and (2.962 ± 0.345- 49.620 ± 3.653) PPb respectively.
The aim of this research is know the concentration rate of the radiated elements which found in toothpastes shall is exceed allowed limits worldly to avoid importing it.
This study show that, all resulting from Radon, Radium and Uranium in selected samples were significantly lower than previous studies limits.
